Inbound IP Addresses When you connect to our SMTP server (for most customers this is mail.smtp2go.com) you will connect to a different IP address depending on your location in the world. If you have an outbound firewall that only allows you to connect to particular IP addresses, you'll need to add the following entries to it.
To get technical, we are adding new IP addresses to the DNS ‘ A record’ for our SMTP service. Like almost all of our members, if you don’t have a firewall that blocks most outgoing IP addresses, you won’t need to make any adjustments. The ranges of IP addresses to allow are: 126.96.36.199/29. 188.8.131.52/28.

Connecting to an IP Address. Wherever possible, you should get your email application to connect to mail.smtp2go.com, and not directly connect to an IP address.. However, some email applications like fax machines or printers may ask you to enter an IP address instead of an SMTP server.
SMTP2GO pre-warms up dedicated IP addresses to a certain extent. However, if you suddenly send out 100,000 emails from a brand new SMTP2GO high volume (dedicated IP address) account, some ISPs may assume that your mail system has been compromised, and the emails will be blocked.
SMTP2GO prices. At SMTP2GO, our higher volume plans (100K+), include a dedicated IP. All lower volume plans automatically use a shared IP. If you want to purchase extra IPs, each IP costs $19 per IP, per month. If you have any questions or are still unsure which type of IP is the right one for you. SMTP2GO accounts on plans that allow at least 100,000 emails/month are automatically assigned one dedicated IP address. Larger senders may wish to purchase additional dedicated IP addresses. Two reasons for wanting multiple dedicated IP address are: You are sending more than 500,000 emails per month.
Whitelisting Our IP Addresses With Office 365. To ensure that emails delivered from SMTP2GO to Office 365 are not incorrectly labelled as spam, it is a good idea to add our IP Address Ranges to the Allowed List in the Connection Filtering Policy within the Office 365 Exchange Admin Center (EAC).
